Aim of the Course

Having a plan for the way an organisation grows will make that growth far less painful and ensure the organisation is in a fit state to deliver a higher volume of products to its market. This introductory workshop will help managers to think about the kind of issues they are likely to face as their organisation grows and will provide practical advice so those issues can be resolved.

Who should attend

This course is aimed at owners and managing directors of SMEs that have been trading for a minimum of 2 years, who wish to gain a practical working knowledge of how organisations grow in an effective way and the likely challenges.

Course Objectives

At the end of this session delegates will be able to:
    • Quantify how big the organisation will need to be on the journey to achieve their vision
    • Be able to identify the pinch points in their organisation and how they could be dealt with
    • Identify what additional functions are needed to enable growth
    • Consider what kind of structure and culture you want to implement
    • Put a plan in place to get the organisation fit for on-going expansion

Please note, whichever option you select, the booking is not complete until payment has been received. Once payment has been received you will be sent your course joining instructions and a VAT invoice as confirmation.

Course Cancellation Policy

Places on courses are limited and we therefore operate a cancellation policy regarding refunds and transfers. Once you have received confirmation of your place on the course you will be liable for the whole fee unless we receive written notification of cancellation more than three weeks before the event date.

Written notification of cancellation can be sent via email to or by post to Excellencia Ltd, The Coach House, Clarbeston Road, Pembrokeshire SA63 4QL. For bookings cancelled more than three weeks before the event, delegates will be able to change the date of their booking free-of-charge, or 100% of the fees that have been paid will be refunded. For bookings cancelled three weeks or less before the event, no refund will be made other than in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the course leader.

Please note that for bookings made three weeks or less before the event, the course fee will be non-refundable, other than in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the course leader. In the event of a cancellation made three weeks or less before an event, applicants will be able to book on a further course for an additional fee. This fee is non-refundable should the delegate then choose to cancel this booking. No refund will be made for non-attendance on the course.

In the event of cancellation of a course by Excellencia, we will endeavour to inform all participants at least two weeks before the course is due to take place, although please be aware that this is not always possible. In such an event, all course fees paid will be reimbursed in full, but we are unable to reimburse any other costs that may be incurred, such as flights or accommodation.

In the event that dates have to be changed by Excellencia, delegates may request a full refund if the new dates are not convenient.
