Aim of the Course

To develop, hone and improve professional marketing skills in order to identify and attract the right people who want your product or service in preference to your competitor.

Who should attend

This course is aimed at owners, directors or managers within an SME. They need not  have had formal training in marketing.  Many middle managers have also greatly benefited from this course since marketing skills are relevant to all levels of the organisation.  The course is also useful for those wishing to update/refresh their skills.

At the end of this workshop delegates will be able to:

    • Recognise the importance of knowing where they are now, the status of their competitors and how to differentiate to deliver margin

    • How to build a practical, relevant and effective marketing plan.


The workshop will help delegates adapt the course material to their specific business, their trading circumstances, their industry demands and their competitors so that it can be put to work delivering an immediate and measurable boost in performance.

Please note, whichever option you select, the booking is not complete until payment has been received. Once payment has been received you will be sent your course joining instructions and a VAT invoice as confirmation.

Course Cancellation Policy

Places on courses are limited and we therefore operate a cancellation policy regarding refunds and transfers. Once you have received confirmation of your place on the course you will be liable for the whole fee unless we receive written notification of cancellation more than three weeks before the event date.

Written notification of cancellation can be sent via email to or by post to Excellencia Ltd, The Coach House, Clarbeston Road, Pembrokeshire SA63 4QL. For bookings cancelled more than three weeks before the event, delegates will be able to change the date of their booking free-of-charge, or 100% of the fees that have been paid will be refunded. For bookings cancelled three weeks or less before the event, no refund will be made other than in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the course leader.

Please note that for bookings made three weeks or less before the event, the course fee will be non-refundable, other than in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the course leader. In the event of a cancellation made three weeks or less before an event, applicants will be able to book on a further course for an additional fee. This fee is non-refundable should the delegate then choose to cancel this booking. No refund will be made for non-attendance on the course.

In the event of cancellation of a course by Excellencia, we will endeavour to inform all participants at least two weeks before the course is due to take place, although please be aware that this is not always possible. In such an event, all course fees paid will be reimbursed in full, but we are unable to reimburse any other costs that may be incurred, such as flights or accommodation.

In the event that dates have to be changed by Excellencia, delegates may request a full refund if the new dates are not convenient.
